Default phone stops ringing when a key is pressed

phone stops ringing when almost any key is pressed, call is not terminated - I can still answer it, phone just goes silent. Feature of the original treo (1.20 unlocked GSM) or side-effect of some 3d-party utility?

I think it's normal cos even when i was using my Treo 270, it's the same thing. Now using the Treo650....when i press on any button, it stops vibrating but i still hear the ring tone....that is probably cause i'm using Ringo so it still continue to play my MP3.

    Just my 2 cents

Thanks, I guess I'll have to live with it. The problem is that with my previous phone the phone going silent while I was pulling it out meant that I've accidentally pushed either green or red button - 50% chance of dropping a call, so this behaviour makes me nervous.
