What does GPS enabled means?
I'm contemplating upgrading my Sony Clie to the Treo 600. While browsing the vendor website I read the following for the treo 600:
" Stay on top of things. The Palm Treo 600 is Web-ready, GPS-enabled, offers personal information management and a built-in camera. Plus, all the phone features you could want."
What does GPS enabled mean? Can I just download software and use it as a GPS? or is external hardware still required?
Thanks for your replies,

That means it uses pseudo-GPS to calculate its position, which is useful if you call 911. Pseudo-GPS means the system uses the known position of the cell towers and timing from the GPS network to calculate the position of the phone. Other than that, I don't think it can be used as a GPS or to show your position.
If I'm wrong, and they've updated things, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me.Regards,
