Disconnecting from Web/PCS Vision

    Default Disconnecting from Web/PCS Vision

    How do I tell the Treo 600 to disconnect from the web once I've finished my browsing session? When I hit the phone button, I still see a symbol in the top right corner that suggests I'm still connected. How come there isn't a simple disconnect button?

    Disconnect shortcut would be good . . . . from previous posts we have discovered, either turn phone off then back on, or goto

    Preferences, then Network....at bottom press the disconnect.

    Separating from the network improves battery life for sure!

    Default Disconnecting From PCS/Vision

    Just received my Treo600 on the Sprint PCS network plan myself. Besides that last bit of advice I would suggest an additional one too, get the Connection Manager from www.PalmGear. It's working great for me.

    Also, don't forget freeware like Radio Control and the drop net features of Treohelper!
