Unhappy Help with a Treo 300 frozen (maybe damage)

My name is Javier Vinueza. I live in Quito, Ecuador. The last weak a buy a used palm, a Treo 300. I was using a software "Jackspat" and the palm auto reset. After, the palm is frozen with the logo "palm powered". I tried many reset ways ( soft reset, warm reset, hard reset, extended hard reset) but nothing change. If i do a hard reset, the palm ask: "Erase all data" , i put yes (key up) and the palm return to "palm powered" screen. If i put other key, the result is same, the "palm powered" screen. If i put the power cable, the palm go to the "palm powered" screen. If i remove the power cable, the palm is off. The power key don't off or on to the palm.

In my country i don't have an technical service for help me. My unique possibility is fix in house.

Please if you can help me with a sugerence or if you have the board layout of the "treo 300" and/or can suggest an electronic fix for i try repair.

Javi, let your treo 300 battery run all the way down. I assume that it is staying on and displaying the Palm logo. Once the battery runs out the unit is automatically hard reset. Don't plug in power until you're sure its done draining. Before you hotsync your info back onto your unit, go into your "Palm" folder on your pc and enter the backup folder. Remove this program (jackspat) and its components from the backup folder so it doesn't get sent back to your palm.

I put the power cable and the the palm switch on and i see the "palm powered" logo. If i remove the power cable the palm turn off. The power button don't switch on to the palm and don't turn off either. i think what the battery is discharged but i donīt sure. If i disconnect to the battery and put the power cable, the palm donīt switch on. If i use the usb cable with the conecction to the power cable (the usb cable has a connection to the power cable) or only the usb to the computer, the palm don't switch on.
