Toshiba e570 PDA How do I get on line?
Hello
I've just purchased a 'bargain' Toshiba e570 PDA .
I bought it to retrieve emails whilst out.
Can anyone tell me how I can get online.
There is no Quick Start Guide with my unit and I don't know whether it has an internal modem or whether I need to buy one...I'm lost!

Hello and welcome to Brighthand.
Here is the specifications of the device.

What do you mean by "internal modem"? WiFi? or more like those old fashion 56k modem?

Here is a list of cards:

You have to pick the one that supports the operating system installed on your PDA. IIRC, that means "Pocket PC 2002".

Many thanks!
Does type 1 or type II have a massive difference or will either fit the e570?

You're welcome! Only Type II fits correctly.

Woops! Nevermind, I was wrong. CF Type I cards will fit in CF Type II slots.Last edited by SharkD; 02-27-2009 at 09:51 AM.

Here is another option if you do not have access to Wi-Fi "hotspots". Note: you'll have to subscribe (or already be subscribed) with a cell plan from Sprint.

Note my correction regarding the slot sizes in my post above.Last edited by SharkD; 02-27-2009 at 10:11 AM.
