Diagnostics/Utilities
Just curious if anyone knows if there any utilities or diagnostics for us to use...you know, like a Norton Disk Cleanup for a desktop, or a Scandisk, or something to measure and then improve the performance, or correct any operating deficiencies, of our beloved PPCs. Thanks for any info.

Well the tiny Clear Temp app from http://www.scottandmichelle.net/scott/cestuff.html automatically deletes everything in the temp folder if you place it in startup. And it's freeware...

You probably need to transfer the .exe file to your Vox and click on it in the File Explorer.

It doesn't do anything you can see - you place it in the \Windows\StartUp folder and it runs automatically, deleting temporary files. You won't see it do anything if you double-tap it in File Explorer.

Procedure
Hi Cov, just received an email from the support of Clean Temp:Originally posted by Covert

"You'll need to select the proper executable for your device from the zip file. Once you've done that, use ActiveSync's explore option:
- Place ClearTemp.exe in your "\Program Files" directory on the device.
- Copy that file.
- Navigate to the "\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" directory.
- Select Paste as Shortcut from the edit menu.
- Rename the link to "ClearTemp"
- (Optionally) Navigate to the "\Windows\StartUp" directory to have clear temp run each time the device is soft reset.
Good luck.
