Has anyone downloaded the Pocket Yahoo v0.1.0 ? I see it available on this
link but I am directed to a "suspended for maintenance" page.

Is anyone using this software or know of another version of Yahoo messenger for the Pocket PC?

    Thanks!

No official versions, as Yahoo! abandoned the PPC platform at least a year, maybe two years ago.

You may have luck with imov messenger, which uses Jabber servers.

Frankly, if Yahoo doesn't want me, I'm more than happy to oblige

Considering that this is NOT developed by Yahoo itself, I would be very hesitant to use it. For all I know, this app may appear to work but harvests userids and passwords in the process.

    Thanks, but I'll pass.

As said earlier. Yahoo discontinued support.

IMOV and IM+ work. I personally like the IM+ over IMOV.

    IM+ is a lot like Trillian. :)

Thanks for the info. I did wonder why it was developed by a third party and not yahoo. I wonder why yahoo abandoned the project? Seems they were going mobile since I have Yahoo Messenger for my PCS Vision phone. Oh well.....I will check out IM+.
