What should determine user titles?

  1. Number of Messages posted (how it was in vBulletin)

  2. Trophy Points (based on # of Messages and # of Likes)

  3. Number of Likes

  4. I don't care!

After installing Adobe Flash again (previously uninstalled because of posting/display issues here and elsewhere) last Friday (03/17), I find that I can no longer attach any images to posts. Images posted in the past will not attach anymore. Attempt shows a 100% load bar but nothing else and image is not reflected as being accepted. Behavior of dialog box for images is completely different and fails.

Any ideas, other than uninstalling Flash again? I originally uninstalled it because of the same issue after an automatic Flash upgrade sneaked into my laptop about 18 months ago and not being able to revert back to previous version which worked here. Uninstalling Flash will render some web pages elsewhere unviewable.

Windows 7 Pro, Firefox (newest version)

    First question
You can also test by disabling all add-ons and try to post an image
FireFox Menu > Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Windows 10 with latest FireFox and Adobe Flash 25.0.0.127 ok here

Do you mean Windows wouldn't let you install a previous version or that you couldn't find a previous version?
If you are looking for a previous version go to

Personally, I would never, ever, run around with an expired version of Flash on my computer. The exploits are countless, and you'll never know you've been hit, and if you do figure it out, it is already too late.

I have removed Flash from my personally owned computers, and dream of the day I can do so with the ~800 systems I manage at work.

If a website demands an archaic plugin that is known to be a vulnerability, then I would give second thought on continued use of that feature of the website, or even use of the site itself. This place included.

Sadly, I still run up on occasion with situations that require Flash.

Requiring flash is one thing, requiring an old version of flash in order to work is another. Neither is optimal, but the latter is flat out irresponsible.

I get, that, my point was in reference to the fact that Lisa got rid of Flash entirely.

Thus far, I have been fortunate. I don't need that missing feature on those websites that demand it, or I have simply tossed those sites out. With a bit of searching, you should in most cases, be able to find similar content elsewhere. :)
