    HELLOOOOOO brighthand!

I'm still a novice at this whole Pocket PC game, and am frequently bewildered from the strange behavior my beloved 4155 acts out from time to time.

The latest is that I now have doubled contact entries!!! Every single one. I have close to 200 or so contacts that sync with my Outlook... deleting every second entry is not practical, as I am afraid that deleting one contact will delete the entire contact as a whole (this occurred with a couple of my doubled notes).

I sync with two computers, thus two seperate installations of Outlook that hold the same exact information.

I hope this is a common thing with a simple solution - please help!

This has happened to me after I've the restored the PPC from a backup.
For whatever reason the desktop no longer recognizes the contacts as being synced and asks you whether to remove, replace, or combine the contacts.
If you combine you'll of course get doubled contacts.

The only solution now, I think, is to delete the duplicated contacts.
Or delete ALL contacts from both PC and PPC, restore from a backup (if you have one) and then resync.

I was going to suggest that as well, however the link is dead. On the guys main page he explains:

    Apologies
Due to a significant reorganisation of the parish website, many of the resources previously offered, such as the Liturgical Calendar, Religious Art Archive and the Outlook Utilities are now no longer be available. It is hoped to be able to reprovide them on another site in the near future. For this, we apologise

    :(

I know I've downloaded it, but never used it. If I can find it on my computer, or on an archive CD somewhere, I'll post it here.

thanks for your responses! I'll keep searching around for an app... else i'll have to resort to deleting each one individually.
