June 11 was the 5th year anniversary of Palm Pre and WebOS.

Here is a blog from the developer of the Cards that were on WebOS who works for the design of Google today, who directs the look and feel of Android, Matias Duarte...

Here is a great but brief article about the influence of WebOS on Mobile OS today....

Here is an interesting interview with Matias Duarte on April of this year saying mobile is dead - but you have to watch the video to understand what he is saying...

For some reason, that first link leads to error- post not found. Just a heads up. Good stuff otherwise.

The link doesn't work here either. It may be that it works for you because you are following the site and we aren't or something like that?

Weird - all my browsers on my phone open it (Android's Internet, Chrome, Firefox & Dolphin).

I'll check from my other devices. Would it have anything to do with Google+?

My Chromebook doesn't open up the link. He didn't write much on his post but referred to the other link I provided. I will try to get it and copy it in another reply.

I have no idea why this is happening. By the way, my TouchPad running in WebOS does open the link...

All he said in his post which had the link to "Why do all mobile roads lead back to the Palm Pre?" from the Tech Block was this:

    "Wow, it's WebOS nostalgia week!"

I guess you are really not missing much - sorry it didn't work.

P.S. I just bought another 32 gb HP TouchPad on Craig's list. The guy bought a bunch of them during the firestorm sale at $149 and resold them and gave them away as gifts and kept one. He is moving from the Phoenix area to the Bay area. He is a programmer and has a friend working at Google. His friend says they are hiring 80 people a day there.

Anyway, he had the TouchPad listed for $60 - I couldn't resist. Almost like new.

I think you have to be logged in to Google+ to access the first link.
