A number of articles that I've read about Verizon's "Share Everything plan have noted that AT&T has been debating a similar plan. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to when they release their version of the plan? Let's have some fun with this. Whomever guesses the closest to the actual announcement date will receive a $10 gift card of some type from me. If someone guess the day before and someone guesses the day after, the earlier date wins.

In a desperate attempt to save myself $10 I'll say August 31, 2012. I figure they'll take some time to see how things settle out with Verizon's subscribers before taking the plunge.

This is like asking me to choose which day I want to have an Acme anvil drop on my head (Roadrunner/Wile E Coyote style.) I've had AT&T since the dawn of civilization. *sigh*

    What the he77. October 1.

Why? Carriers are notoriously slow to adopt any policy that might even maybe possibly save their customers money. Notice how big red's "shared" data "throws in" unlimited minutes that nobody needs and costs more than customers spend today? That's why I doubt any carrier will provide shared data that makes any economic sense for the foreseeable future. Of course more and more ppl will abandon these rates for PAYG and I predict that 1/3 of all smartphones will be on PAYG before these crooks stop hitting "snooze" instead of providing shared data rate plans.

If you're right I'll send you an AT&T GC to cover about 10% of 1 months bill...

When is the next iPhone intro? I'd say within a week either way of that.
