There is a best freeware thread. I'm interested in what you guys have bought.

I have a long history with using a Sony Clie, and before that, a Palm IIIx. I'm just starting with the TX. Here is my list:

Datebk6 - Started with Datebk5. It's not as pretty as Agendus, but also not nearly as expensive. It's supposedly more powerful but I don't really use it to the full extent.

Bonsai - Good outliner. I love the icon support. I bought Shadow at one point but it didn't work well on the Clie.

Diet & Exercise Assistant - I've used it since version 3 and it's now on 7.

PocketMoney - I think I started using this at version 1!!

eReader Pro - I like being able to use extra fonts, and some of the other non-free features are nice. Reading is a very large part of what I use the PDA for.

iSilo - For unencrypted books and offline web content (almost moot now that I have the TX)

KoolSounds - Just bought this so I can pretty-up my alarms on the TX

BeCrossword - You can download new puzzles from lots of newspapers.

Cleanup - I only used this once. I don't remember what I needed it for.

IBM Java VM - Palm doesn't give it away anymore and I wanted (still do) to get Opera working.

    In alphabetical order:

    eReader Pro
    Novii Remote Deluxe
    Oxford American Dictionary
    PasswordsPlus
    PocketTunes Deluxe
    Splash Money
    Uninstall Manager
    various Astraware Games

I have a number of other non-freeware third-party applications that I paid for by being a beta tester or won in contests.

Ooh, those Astraware games are expensive! I want some of them so bad, but so far I have been able to talk myself out of the $20! lol

    D2G
    PocketTunes Deluxe
    Uninstall Manager

Go to Astraware now because currently they have 30 games on Spring Sale for very low prices. :)

I think I posted a list of apps I've purchased, but can't find it now. Anyway, here's an update:

    AeroPlayer
    Bejeweled
    BTCommander
    BTToggle
    CardReader
    CrazyDaisy
    Bzzz
    DateBk6
DocumentsToGo (both versions 8 and 9)
    EDGE
    Electronics
    Electrist
    Favogo
    FindHack
    FontSmoother
    GTS Racing
    HandBase
    Hi-Launcher
    Insaniquarium
    iSilo
    ListPro
    Mars Needs Cows
    mySkin/myKbd
    NoviiRemote
    Planetarium
    PowerDigi
    powerOne Graph
    RescoBackup
    RescoExplorer
    RescoViewer
    RoadLingua
    ScreenShot5
    TealInfo
    TealLock
    TealTools
    TomeRaider3
    UDMH
    UnitConverter Pro
    Warfare Inc.
    ZLauncher

Before gaping at such a long list take into consideration that most of them have been carried over the 6 devices I've owned in as many years. Still, there seems to be an awful lot of games and too few "work" apps. But I have three kids (counting myself :p)

Some apps I've purcahsed but no longer use:
AddTime (no longer mix my own CDs :( )
    BlueFiles (replaced by CardReader)
CardExport 2 (too buggy for my liking)
FullPower (looks like it does nothing on the TX)
Hellfire (seems I forgot to install on TX, then forgot the serial, then forgot about it :D )
JackFlash/JackSprat (a must for T3 users, sadly don't work on TX)
Lightspeed (on T2 and T3, does not work on TX)
mobileClock (DateBk6 manages my alarms now)
QLaunch (now I use DIA buttons more than on T3)
RAM Drive (built-in WiFi makes it superfluous)
SilverScreen (looong time ago, before ZLauncher existed)
WaveEditPro (another MIA, mainly because I haven't given a mic to my TX)
TealMaster (used it for years, now replaced by YAHM)

    Let's see..... <noobette checks out what's actually on there>

    General stuff:
    ZLauncher
    (that's it?? I'm shocked!)

    Medical apps:
    Davis's Drug Guide
    Taber's Medical Dictionary

    Games: (plenty  )
    EDGE
    Fish Tycoon
    Legacy
    Tradewinds
    Village Sim

I guess either I'm a cheapskate, or free apps work really well for me!
