Thanks to OHD telling the 755p forum about TreoLauncher, I have now moved on from ZLauncher, and love how easy it is to customize TreoLauncher. Loading a background is just as easy as with ZLauncher, but it's the icons that make things simplistic. Gone are the days of skinning ZLauncher or creating themes. You save the GIF icon files with the application names to your SD card, and BAM! Instant custom icons.

Here's what Internetpilot currently has going on:

iPhone-ish type of B/W background with boxier color icons:

Cheese, Gromit...cheese! Yup that wacky pup is holding a Treo!

The Gromit background is also from NachoB, whereas the "iPalm" background was borrowed from the iPalm ZLauncher theme. The icons are a combination of multiple sets that I've scarfed from around the internet and a few I even made myself.

It's funny that this neverending thread started out with my original launcher choice -- LauncherX. Four years later, and I've gone full circle -- simplistic, to complicated (Zlauncher), and now back to simplistic.

^^ Very nice. Ya know, in all my doing I have yet to create any icons or use the ones that I've bothered to collect. Maybe I'll do that in a little bit...I'm lazy, what can I say?

This may sound like a silly Q but how do you get the screen dump of your device . IS there a built in utility or are you using a third party utility as i would like to do the same .

    Thanks

Snap gets recommended a lot for those purposes.
Another option is ScreenDumpDA (requires a DA Launcher)

Haven't uploaded one for my Treo I don't think.

Nothing really different from my TE, at least not too much.
