Just an idea I had... what do you dislike the most about your computer?
That I had to pay for it!
It's now mostly a conduit for my Tungsten.
I've come close a few times to voting for the last option, though...
I voted for unwillingness to work when you need it to. The PC will work fine everyday 24/7 while I'm just sitting there doing nothing. But on the days that I need to do somehting important, it will freeze up and stuff like that. Then I have the urge to pick it up and throw it in the garbage.
For us studio guys, you forgot the option about how much DVI extension cables cost.
It was a couple thousand bucks to run two Apple displays 75 feet from the machine room.
Of course after you get in that ultra quiet room with a 20" HD resolution screen it is totally worth it . . .
I'm definitely gonna have to go with having to pay for it myself. My old desktop wasn't working well, so I gave it to my brother (he's director of IT services at his company) and after he was through it didn't work at all. So I bought a brand new Dell laptop.
My second reason would have to be the wallbricks. I have 2, one for my speakers and one for my palm. That along with all the other crap I need to plug in, I am outta plugs
believe it or not... my old Celeron/400 works better than my P41.8Ghz... hardly crashes at all.... good thing it runs linux
I voted for the mass of cables... Because of all the peripherals I have, I have a ginormous amount of cables - if you're not careful, you can yank one with your foot and pull something down behind the desk.
I voted for the mass of cables, too.
But, I derive some perverse satisfaction that it drives my wife (the cable mess) totally nuts sometimes!
lol mass of cables..i mean if there were not so many cables my desk won't be considered *that* messy....
