The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the first smartphone released with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), is pretty inexpensive through Verizon Wireless. Although only five months old, the smartphone can be purchased through Amazon and other outlets for as little as $49.

Not surprising, as it hasn't aged that well as a super-high-end phone. There's a lot of other HD phones on the horizon that don't have the Galaxy Nexus' drawbacks like lack of MicroSD. That said, for $50, it's a pretty damn good deal.

I agree. At $50 it is a pretty good deal if you don't need or really want the card slot or an easy video-out solution. The construction is also a bit off-putting for some like me. I was super-excited for this phone to come out and was almost sure I'd be buying one until I found out the significant short-comings.
