    1.0.3

    New features:
You can now pause the encoding between the passes.
You can now abort the encoding process.
You now see a UMC progressbar while encoding and VirtualDubMod starts minimized
VirtualDubMod now runs at a lower priority wich makes your computer less "sluggish" during the encoding process.
VirtualDubMod no longer shows the input and output video which speeds up the encoding a few percent.
New option that lets you manually input file resolution if UMC fails to detect it.

    Bugs fixed:
Bug when you clicked new profile and then selected cancel
    Bug when deleteing profiles
Bug where UMC would get stuck at "Loading file details..." screen
Bug that would crash umc if you pressed remove on the encoding tab with an empty list of files to be encoded.
Bug that occured when you pressed cancel when adding files multiple times to the list of files to be encoded.
No statfile found error corrected in all default profiles.

And I'm sure I've forgotten to write down some changes too...

    It's availible for download at:http://unlogic.no-ip.biz/umc

I've just finished the Documentation section at UMC website, it should come in handy especially when encoding DVD's thanks to Mantis excellent guide.

Got a question! I am working on converting SG-1 episodes and I am finding that live action vs cartoon is more intensive and tricky! I keep getting pixelation no matter what I do (mainly in dark areas like a black shirt or when they are running through a dark forest at night). I have used PocketDivxEncoder, Vdub mod, and UMC and STILL get the pixelation. The video plays fine on me PC though. I have alternated speeds with pxa clocker to no effect. Any suggestions?

May I ask at which bitrate your encoding?

For UMC I used the packaged T3 high quality setting.

PocketDivxEncoder I set the video at varied rates 10-14 (220 kbps to 276 kbps).

I can't rermember what I had it set for in Vdub...

I thought about trying a 1 pass encoding to see what the difference would be. I've never tried a one pass encoding.
