Unable to Hotsync - Identifying user?

    I confirm that the HotSync icon is quite present in the "SYSTRAY' and that "LOCAL" is well selected.

    I opened my "Device Manager/Hardware" then I have to launch my synchronization but no activity, no refresh in the tree structure of "Device Manager" .That wants to say what?
