    Hello,

I am making the grand ol switch back to the Palm OS platform after an unsuccesful stint with the Pocket PCs. The Tungsten T3 is the PDA that will most fit my needs, however I cannot seem to find any local retailers who carry the item anymore, as they are preoccupied with E2's, TX's, and the lower models.

Anyone know of any stores that carry the T3, particularly in the Bay Area? I've checked websites for Staples, OfficeMax, Circuit City, Bestbuy, Office Depot, Fry's Outpost, with no luck.

Any help will be appreciated.. THANKS!

    and long live palm.

I doubt you will still find it in the normal stores.

Check for 2nd hand or refurbished units, maybe you will have more luck there.

    See e.g. www.ebay.com or www.pdaparts.com.

The T3 has been discontinued for some time now. You may have some success on ebay. Good luck.

Edit: Holvy has a good suggestion with the pdaparts refurbs.

hey thanks! but yea, that's pretty steep, even more so when applying the weak dollar =/ . also shipping from outside the US worries me about damages, especially for a new pda.

ebay seems to have some really good deals. i saw brand new ones sell for less than $220. i think i may take this route, soon after my ipaq 4155 sells on ebay too.

i first began my pda craze with the palm os, then switched to the HP iPaq 4155 Pocket PC. although the features are amazing, the user interface of winmobile03 is just too complicated for on the fly, personal information management. i think i just can't get used to the platform, even after 3 years.
3rd party programs also are a big factor, as pocket pc often lacks in this arena. when i had a palm, i enjoyed having so many quality freeware programs!

plus a pda with features like the tungsten t3 perfectly fit my needs..
