It is a great idea, except that T3 would be to big to carry in a pocket and there are no cases available for extended T3.

I expect that information will take a few months to dig up.

No, not really :) It was published on 10/04/2004, if I'm not mistaken. The idea of having T5 battery in T/T2/T3 seems REALLY interesting to me.

Hey, has anyone heard more about (or just simply know) about the NX80 battery fitting in a T series handheld? It was mentioned earlier in this thread, but briefly. I can't seem to find any dimensions on the net myself.

BTW, congrats to all the 1200 mAh modders and the king 1500 mAh modder :)

Heck, we built better batteries than that!
In fact, the damn thing sure looks like a Worley cell to me! I wonder if someone else was reading this thread.....

    [edit]
Never mind my speculation above, I just noticed the release date on the battery.... Looks like we followed in their footsteps here....
    [/edit]

Still it should be indicative of the actual size since it is designed to fit into the prototype T5 the FCC (I assume these are FCC pics) got.

That looks very promising! Also, since there's a ruler right there, we should even be able to get rough dimensions.

Damn! I get 48 X32 mm! How about you guys? Thickness is unknown though.

That appears to be a Sony battery too! Where do they find those things???

    @klw
Well, the prototype battery surely looks like a Li-Poly one to me, but official w/p says it's Li-Ion. Hm... What is it, P1 ???

    EDITED

    All right, I got 51mm X 32 mm
(and I'm pretty sure it's 4 mm thick. Well, may be 4.5)

    Grrr....

I Just realized this: If that really is the production battery, then P1 knew back in April, that they could fit a 1300mAh battery into a T3.
