Twice in two days! I think I'm feeling faint. Is there a nurse anywhere?
Just cancelled my mid-July holiday to Wales. I want to be around for this.
Chances are it would be raining anyhow there, so no harm done, right ?
Okay, I can live without broadband for a week (just). Then my wife said there might not even be mobile phone coverage. I nearly had a stroke!
If my partner had just told me that, there'd certainly be no stroking. Probably just storming off and sulking.
You're a bad boy!
Come to think of it, with no broadband and no mobile phone coverage, having a stroke is probably the only thing left!
I suppose you'd then be able to lie in a hospital bed next to a bleeping machine... sort of Palm-like...
Yes, I suppose. I'd be trying to get an internet connection on it though. I'd probably be told off by one of the nurses.
Ah ha, back on topic!
Needless to say...I am stroking out over selling my house. Oh looooooordy...selling a house is noooooooooo fun!!! Haven't done any major repairs to my house in 20 years (except for the remodel of my kitchen). So far here is the damage:
1. need new roof
2. need new closet doors
3. need new paint inside and outside
4. need some basic landscaping
5. waiting for the termite inspection (but will probably need something done as the roofer noticed some damage to my roof)
Can you say KACHING!!! And all of this work needs to be done in less than 2 weeks, so I can get it on the market by the last weekend in May. The timeline is painful, so hope I don't screw anything up with not getting the money for my current house in time for the closing on the new one. It takes a lot to stress me out....but I am seriously stressed.
I need oxygen, amphetamines, and a martini, or I am never going to get all this work done.
All that in TWO WEEKS ?
Errrr ... I hope you have still some holidays left because sounds to me like a more-then-full-time project for the coming weeks ...
If you feel the urge to vent some frustrations, you know the place, right ? We are all happy to listen here ...
GOOD LUCK !
