While my CDMA S3 doesn't come at all near to almost hot as my Droid X, even doing my daily run-thru of BH before work is generating some warmth ‹shrugs›

Warm is fine. Miniaturized electronics get warm, even very warm. As long as it doesn't get burn-your-fingers hot, you are probably okay. ;)

Ah that's good to hear...Hot as F-15's engines engaged in full afterburner, right? :D

Today, I got another TPU case. The first one, the power / volume rocker were so hard to press. Second one had a flaw on the bottom right hand corner (extra TPU material). Now this one, third one, is good enough, pressing the buttons with no effort. The cut-outs are little bit bigger, same as the second one. The first one's cut-outs were nearly perfect.

However, the third one, same as the second one, I cannot fully connect the microUSB into the port (feel a "snap" when connect it), but it does work and seems stable enough so I can move it around when connect it. So what the heck, I am just keeping this one, I guess I am too picky.

Don't worry, I got a refund for the second one. :)

Tonight I did a battery test...not bad for video playback, only drop 5% for 30 minutes.

    Audio: 7 (internal speaker)
    Brightness 3

    Video Codec: Mp4 H264
    Video Resolution: 480x360
    Audio: AAC

So now I can, I felt a "snap" while I was connecting the cable to charge it last night. Apparently somehow the case self-mold on the device.

Huh...I just found out that my i9100 maybe rooted because I tried the app "Quick Boot (Reboot)" and according to the description, it require to the device rooted.

I suspected that my i9100 may have been rooted because there is an app called "Superuser" already installed from the beginning, even when I did factory reset.

Either that or I have a custom ROM, even though it looks like and feels like Samsung touchwiz (which I like).

Unless a different ROM is identified in about phone in settings, it is likely the stock Samsung image. I know there are supposed to be techniques for preserving Superuser (SU) even through a factory reset or OTA upgrade, but I've never used them.

So I take it quick boot worked for you. Did it ask for SU permission?
