I do subscribe at matsuru's opinion: WM 6.1 the clean one I've installed and I am very satisfied with it!
And-believe me!- I've tried them ALL!!!

Hi Eckka. I'm using 6.1 clean v.3,- so far, so good. I've tried 6.5 before, one of the previous version. I found , however, it was consuming way too much RAM + I had severe issues with my device freezing after a hard reset. How about this new version?
    Cheers

    Dear HiKoki,

I've been running it for three weeks now and have no problems. I've installed and updated software and generally just pushed it and have not had it crash. All the features work without problem. There is generally 65Mb of RAM left when I use it which is fine for me.

I know that GKLeding has updated the ROM I originally quoted and has even created a lite version. Check out his posts for more details.

    Cheers,

    Eckka

I'm using the latest Sony66 6.5.5. Works like a charm...can't imagine going back to the older versions with how well this sucker works.

Are you using this ROM and experiencing no issues ?
    Code:
    6.5.5 sony66
Experimental, unstable, if keyboard doesnt work after flashing you will need hard reset, dont try to change today items, this will kill WM and you will need to reflash...

Yeah, there are no issues with mine. I'm using a ROM I cooked in the latest Sony66 kitchen, not the preset one he put up online, although I did use that with no issues before I cooked my own ROM. I completely changed around my Today screen to my liking. I also use transcriber and block recognizer (I never use keyboard), so can't help you there. But other than the occasional issue where the Bluetooth link disappears from my Windows wireless manager (have to manually enable it in Connections under Settings), I'm having no issues whatsoever. The work that's been done by these guys on this board is second to none.

When you flashed your Ipaq with Sony66 6.5.5. On the today screen does it show a 30 day beta usage? For 5-01-2010? Because my today screen show this and has given me a warning about being a 30 day beta.

Does yours show this, or anyone else that has flashed Sony66 6.5.5?
