The previous two threads on this topic...
The damn thing drained my T3 from 100% to 70% last night.
After the first one I have just left mine on the charger overnight. The Spring one did not affect me and this Fall's one would not have either. But I did wake up in the middle of the night, semi-coherent so I looked at it, and tapped the alert away.
It appears that this is the beginnings of the DST-III thread.
I'm sorry but what is this DST situation can some one explain.
Depending on which time zone you selected when you first setup your palm PDA, there is an option to have the PDA automatically update the Daylight Savings Time setting for you.
The problem with this, is that the palm will turn on display a notice that it has updated the time. It appears that it will stay on until you acknowledge the change - thereby draining the battery should you be away from the pda.
I recieved the notice last night when I was doing some reading on my t3 - I didn't realize that it would stay on however, until I read these posts.
My T3 reset its clock at 1:00AM last night, not 2:00AM as it should have. A minor bug, but annoying.
I turned off all of the alarms so it wouldn't wake me up and hooked it up to the charger before bed.
I did have a fatal exception and a reset when I turned it on this morning. I have not had that happen before.
I woke up this morning and noticed that the time had been changed, but there was no alert and no battery drain on my T3. I didn't check my T or my m500 yet... Is this problem T3 specific, and if so, why didn't it affect me?
Both my T|C and my wife's T|3 woke us up @ 1:00am this morning. My daughter's T|T didn't do a thing!
No problems with my T3 this time. No alarm or anything.
