I've been getting as many as 20 emails a day from techtarget, often I'd get several of them 5 minutes apart. They each come with unsubscribe links but there seems to be no way to manage subscription preferences. I could imagine a scenario where I would allow perhaps 1 a day or 1 a month to get through but this is getting ridiculous. Not having an email preferences page is a huge missed opportunity. Something seems badly broken over at at techtarget's email (spam?) factory and I'm getting so many emails I decided it was time to mass unsubscribe from them. I'm bringing this up here to see if other BH users are experiencing this as well.

No, I don't think I have ever received an email from tech Target (knock on wood). :vbeek:

Thanks for the speedy reply, Hook. Once I realized this email spam isn't automatic, I decided to go take a look and of course... my password was expired... but once I reset it, I picked the "unsubscribe from all tech target emails" link and hopefully they won't come back.

Same as for Hook & Edmund -- no emails that weren't in response to one I'd sent.

I've gotten a handful over a couple of years and used the Unsub option in the email. I don't think any emails have come since.

I always use 1 account for subscriptions that I'm interested & another email that I'll probably never be interested. None of those emails go to my main account.

My new year resolution last year was to unsubscribed to many emails. They were good subscriptions but time does not allow one to read every good email, let alone time to read & respond to the ones that one needs to read.

And it seems that I spoke too soon. There was a Tech Target survey from their marketing firm in my inbox on Wednesday AM. :vbwink:
