I have Dimex installed with my PD 4.2 - that allows me to export my Calendar, edit it in Excel, and re-import it.

Is there anything similar for Contacts or To-Dos? I have a lot in there that needs some cleaning and finding/replacing and it would be easier in Excel or Word (hell, Notepad) than in PD.

    Thanks

I believe you should be able to export your contacts directly from the Palm Desktop under File/Export, then open the file in Excel.

    For ToDos, try http://www.palm2csv.com/

PalmDesktop has the ability to export/import contacts without needing a 3rd-party app. Under PD, go to Contacts, then to the menu, select Import or Export as you need, then in the dialogue that opens choose the file format you want. You can use csv, txt, both of which can be easily trasfered to Excel. I find it useful to first export my contacts to a file, so as to create a template with the proper columns and field formats that I can use to add newer contacts.

EDIT: Should have hit the refresh button before replying :)
