T-Mobile offers non-customers a free mobile hotspot, with 30 days/30GB data

I put the Google Fi sim back in and changed the default APN to h2g2. It seems to be working, now. I guess I just needed to be a little patient.

 

Those are pretty good speeds I'd say. Seems like the enticement deal is even a bit worse than I thought. It's not even really connected to what would be an ongoing product they'd sell. I guess it's to demonstrate network availability in your area and the speeds.
