I want to sync my LifeDrive's calendar (or any calendar available for my LD) with Google Calendar, using the LifeDrive's wifi connection. Is there a way to do this without going through a PC?

Oh that would be sweet. Clearly a next step in pda conduits is to sync with google. No not somebody's high-priced proprietary solution, just Google. I want my gmail on my pda and my pda contacts and calendar on any windows pc that can see google.

You hear that google peeps and palm peeps? Bring it!

I have heard a few people working on this. First start with this BH thread.

Also CampanionLink says it will sync Google Calender with any palm PDA

Hope that helps and let us know how it works out!

I found a solution! goosync.com lets you do an over-the-air sync with your Palm calendar. It works pretty well.

I have tried Goosync ( www.goosync.com ) a few minutes ago and it sure works.
I was unsure of giving my account and password to an unknown service so I created a new GMail adress with a new Calendar and that´s what I´m using. I think it might be better that way, at least till we know goosync is trustable enough ;-)

I am a bit reluctant to merge both threads, but here is the link to an article Ed just wrote. I already saw matiassun linked to this thread ;)

Oh BTW matiasasun, welcome to BrightHand :D:D:D

LOL I'm soo glad I read this 1st, I get alittle impulsive with these free apps.
I never used Google calender though, any dates I have are on my outlook/TX I wonder if I'll even need this. :p

Oh, and I believe I saw your picture at some other time.... I think when I was mailing some gifts at the post office. ;)

I just checked out GooSync and was just about to set up an alternate gmail account to avoid the privacy issues when I noticed that GooSync has a new option to authorize by proxy. In other words, you don't need to give GooSync your google login info, just authorize your google account to allow GooSync to access the calendar.
