Ok, serious side. Does any body have a recommendation for a case for the S3?

I want something thats tough but not bulky.

Too bad I can't find any tpu case that is little bit "thicker"

NetBrakr - my son bought me the LifeProof Fre case for my birthday last year. He paid $80 plus tax. I have seen DailySteals have it now on sale & the last time it was $18 for the S3, 4 & 5's. It is not my day to day case but I do use it when I go to the gym - so I can pour anti-bacteria lotion on it & my hands after I'm done working out (I use my phone to listen to music & to follow an excel sheet on my exercises & weights). I also use it when I'm at out door activities.

It is a great case. The only downside is the speaker is a little distorted when at full volume for music or calls.

You may want to keep your eye out for their next sale. You can sign up & get their daily emails on the daily steal.

EDIT: DailySteals also has an app that you can just click on & see their sales...

Amazon has it for $25, assuming this is the same case.

I suspect even $15 is over Netb's budget. :vbwink:

That's a good deal. These cases totally protect your phone - you'll never have to worry about damage to your phone once it is in the case!

Thanks for the tip, scotty. I am reading the customers reviews, it's ok case, somewhat fragile according to few customers.

Hook: You read my mind. LOL :p

I can see it only fragile if the phone is not in it. The screen is thin to allow the touch experience - but needs the backing of a phone underneath it. Other than that - I don't see it fragile at all.

    I got your point...hmmm

Well, in the meantime, I bought a clear tpu case and 5x screen protector for the low low price of $4.30. :p
