I really miss having a macro camera. Last real one I had was about 7 years ago. At least I'm not missing much, because there's a notorious lack of bugs here in the Bolivian Altiplano :D :D

Phone cameras for the most part are not up to the task. But those pics look nice, jig. Maybe Motorola is up to something good with their cameras :newpalm:

Out of the four cameras in the Stylus I think I find the specs on the macro camera the most disappointing. 2 megapixel @ f/2.2 definitely isn't blowing my socks off (even a decade ago). It just seems silly that the action camera is 16mp and even the front selfie camera is 16mp. I question if it would just be better to use the 48mp main camera and then crop -- you'll probably end up with a higher resolution image.

Not to hijack this, but I didn't think it warranted its own thread since I don't think many will respond, but has anyone looked at the new Sony Xperia 1 II (weird name, I know). Seems very impressive, if very expensive.

For that price, it better include at least an entry level edition Playstation 5.

Other than being required to carry one as senior level Sony management or something, I'm not sure why anyone would buy this phone. Other than the superior processor, the specs are ridiculously similar to the Stylus at a fraction of the price. And neither have 5G.

My Stylus just got the May 1, 2020 Android security patch. I'm now on build QPRS30.80-58-3.

And what a difference with the update process of Android 10. With no Recovery or Cache partitions everything is done in the background. I didn't even have to reboot.

And now an interminable reboot…ah! Finally, the ridiculous splash screens…

Speaking of screens, have any of you been able to 'make' Multi-window work?
