Speaking of: Urine is actually sterile*, and can be used to clean a wound, i.e. on the battlefield, backwoods, etc.

If not, you have a UTI of some sort...

Remember the 'Friend's' episode, The One With The JellyFish? Monica was stung by a jellyfish and Joey remembered seeing a documentary where urine would cure the sting:

    HAHAHA!!!

Speaking of jellyfish: A paste of hydrocortisone cream and meat tenderizer works wonders to relieve a sting! Works better if you first wash teh sting with ammonia (which I suspect is the urine connection.)

I've got a lot of cooking tricks. My favorite is to use good ole granulated sugar instead of flour to coat the inside of pans for baked goods.

And I've been using that shirt-shrinking trick on my wife's shirts for years. She just gets mad a me.

Kudos to.... aw nuts! I can't remember who started this thread!

I learned that in the same class as the one I referenced in an earlier post. It was even a question on the final exam.

If you run out of windshield wiper fluid in the winter, shake a can of coke and spray windshield. Works great :)

A paste of baking soda and water also relieves bee stings.

WD-40 works well at removing crayon drawings from painted walls.

Chewing gum in hair, peanut butter helps to remove, if does not then sissors do the trick.

My mom's secret - drink a 8 oz solution of white vinegar and water (50/50), each morning or each evening. <not sure what it does for her exactly, yet at 75 (this 5 July, walks 5 miles each day, and at DAD's farewell party, many mistook her for his daughter;) )

Vinegar has thousands of uses - I use it in cooking, cleaning, deodorising, laundry and so many other ways around my home. A cupful of vinegar boiled in your kettle and then left to cool will mean limescale will quickly fall away from the element. This saves you money on electricity. :)
