Can anyone please tell me how to delete the Quick Tour from my T/E? It doesn't seem resonable that I'm stuck with it.
    Thank you

Not possible I'm afraid, it's part of the ROM, and as it's not flash rom [either US or int' version] you're stuck with it...

On a lighter note, as it's in the ROM, it's using memory that's not available to you anyway, so isn't using memory that you could have installed apps etc. on...

Thank you very much. I think I was more disconcerted having to always look at the icon on the desktop than I was at the loss of memory space. I appreciate your help

Ah, I've got the apps I use in a category called zed's dead, basically because I'd watched Pulp Fiction that night, and it was the first thing I could think of starting with a z, as that way, it's only one navigator click to the right from my zed's... to the sd card.

That way I only see the icons/apps that I want to, and pop up 'all' if I need to access an app I don't use often...

    G:)

By desk top I guess you mean on your hand held??? Try this - At the top right tape for a drop down menue. I would assume yours now says "all". On edit catagories create a new one. I use normal. Then tape the button on the bottom left down in the gray are. Tap category. There you can put the icons where ever you want them. I put the few that I use in the normal area.

Thank you all very much. I probably won't add a program simply to hide the icon. However I did set a separate grouping of just the icons that I use most often. Is there a way that I can hit the 'home' button and have it always take me back to that screen grouping instead of the defalt 'all' screen grouping?

On the palm desk top tap the time, tap options, tap preferences then check the box that says remember last catagory. Hope this helps.

Ok, I rushed anxiously to this software tonight.. only to find.. poison.. STAY AWAY.. :(
    Hard Reset #4...
No offense taken on the lead to the software.. nobody knew.. but now we do.
One of life's lessons, learn by experience.
I'll be happily palming again.. in about 10 minutes.. *patiently waits while _very_ slow serial hotsync continues* *taps fingers* *snore*

It's ok, it only took about 10 minutes.. or so.. I think... I can't quite remember.. it was done when I woke up.. :D
I'm just thankful that I hotsync on a regular basis.
I also learned something new, if I deflate something useing deflator, to set the backup flag on those databases, as they are not backed up otherwise.. heh. Live and learn. That's what life is all about. Hey, I even freed up some extra space.. woo 200KB free! *ROAR* :D
