    Dec. 13, 2018 / 11:09 AM CST
An armored Brink’s truck accidentally scattered money across a northern New Jersey highway Thursday morning, and as drivers got out of their cars to grab cash there were crashes.

Police said they received a call about 8:30 a.m. ET about an armored truck spilling cash along Route 3 West in East Rutherford.

Several drivers got out of their cars and attempted to grab cash off the road, causing two separate motor vehicle crashes, police said. But at least one person tried to help the Brink's driver, who was seen on video posted to social media running through traffic trying to collect the scattering cash.

"One good Samaritan had scooped up some money and handed it back to the security guard," East Rutherford Police Capt. Phillip Taormina told NBC News, adding a malfunction with the rear door of the truck caused the money to spill out.

He said the man left the scene immediately afterward because he was late for work. Police hope to speak to him today as part of their investigation.

A Brink's Co. spokesman said in a statement: “We confirm that one of our trucks was involved in an incident on Route 3 in East Rutherford this morning. The incident is under investigation and we have no additional comment at this time.”

Forgotten human heart prompts Southwest flight to return to Seattle
SEATTLE — Southwest Airlines says a Dallas-bound flight returned to Seattle last weekend because a human heart was left onboard.

The Seattle Times reports that Flight 3606 arrived in Seattle from Sacramento, California. Someone forgot to unload the heart before the plane left for Dallas, and the captain announced over Idaho they were turning back.

It's not clear what the heart was for. Southwest said the "life-critical cargo shipment" was for a hospital and had been sent by a company specializing in shipments. Parts of a heart, such as valves, can be recovered when whole heart transplants aren't feasible.

But no Seattle-area hospitals said they were involved. Organ-procurement organizations in Washington and California said they never use commercial flights for heart transplants.

The flight took off for Dallas after a five-hour delay.

Love everything about this. Particularly how much more expensive it is than anything that's likely to be stolen and the low-tech, human aware means of securing its return despite its value.

Young brothers watch 'Home Alone' _ while they're home alone
MUNCIE, Ind. — Police in an Indiana city say they found a 7-year-old boy and his 4-year-old brother watching "Home Alone" while their mother was away at work.

Muncie police say the boys' mom said she couldn't find a sitter so she told the older son to stay home from school with the younger sibling Tuesday. The Star Press reports that she was arrested on a charge of neglect of a dependent.

In the 1990 film "Home Alone," a boy is accidentally left behind while his family goes on a Christmas vacation.

Not really excited for it's intended use, but hope someday MS expands this official, lightweight windows vm in a big way. Every browser ought to run inside a streamlined version of this that has permanence without users even realizing it, files ought to be automagically scanned by defender inside it before migrating to your real computer. I think you could wipe out most malware by treating the internet like what it is, the most untrustable, dodgy app there is.

    a small sample:

for those of you fortunate enough to not have intimate knowledge of FDA-speak, typically instead of naming a specific product, e.g., Acetominophen caplets, 1000mg, FDA will refer to it as (b)(4), having elsewhere defined the reference.

Didn't sound to me like he did anything wrong, indeed, I appreciate his honesty when he found out what happened. But I figured since I posted the video I ought to post the update.
