The Tapwave Zodiac is intended to be used in landscape mode and has the joystick (which emulates a 5 way pad) on the left. I'm right handed and had no problems dealing with it. I don't see that as a big issue for the Nokia.

I'm amused. As I understand it, the original Nokia 770 was something of a "stealth" project at Nokia. Management wore cell phone blinders, and the developers had to beg, borrow, or steal the resources to develop it, and do it largely on their own time. They also adopted the open source model for the OS, which provided speed bumps, as it's antithetical to normal corporate software development models.

I subsequently found out Nokia couldn't make the 770 fast enough to meet demand, and it has spawned the 800 and now the 810 as successors.

Take a look at http://www.maemo.org for current development efforts. That's the main site for OS and application development for the Nokia devices, and a lot of interesting things are out there or in preparation.

I meant the screen size and resolution. I haven't seen any videos about this device. ;)

If only I could get the part number for that LCM.

I'm left-handed, and actually I'm using a Lifedrive. I much prefer to have the pads, or in general, buttons, tho the right side, so I can keep the unit in landscape mode with my right hand, and press buttons, or use teh d-pad, with mi right thumb. And use the stylo with left hand
