As expected, T-Mobile has just revealed that an official Windows Mobile 6 upgrade will be released tomorrow for its Dash smartphone. This will make it the first smartphone available in the U.S. to receive this operating system upgrade.

I have just upgraded my Dash to WM6. Suddenly suffering problems with the autocomplete working when I enter addresses into my Garmin Mobile 10x (works fine elsewhere). Wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there's a workaround. Have notified Garmin but no response yet.
Other than that would have to say WM6 seems much better than its predecessor in terms of speed and robustness.
    Thanks.

How difficult was it. I get mine on Tuesday. Should I just open it and get it updated or use the current WM5 for awhile?

    Welcome to Brighthand, dadidito. :)

This thread is one year old. Have you determined that your new device will not already have the upgrade installed?

There's no official WM6.1 upgrade for the Dash right now, though you can find an unofficial one made by users if you look around. XDA-Developers.com is a good place to start.
