New Unlimited Data Plans from T-Mobile

    T-Mobile will soon launch new unlimited data plans. The plans will be priced from $69 - $89, depending on how many gigs the user wants per month - 2, 5 or 10. There will be no overage fees for customers who go over their chosen limit, but future transmissions will be throttled.

    I'm not sure I would consider these "unlimited" plans.

    I think you misread. The article claims the new plan(s) will be unlimited, but the older 2, 5 or 10 plans will still be available. Whether the "unlimited" plan will truly be unlimited will remain to be seen, but the article seems to claim the price range has to do with whether the phone is subsidized or not.

    Will be interesting to see the actual details.
