I have been happily using my Nook Color since last December with the anti-glare screen protector and a silicone cover. The screen protector not only cuts glare but reduces the visibility of finger prints.

I would like to get my Bluetooth headset and mouse working with it and tether it to my TP2 for internet access.

That's a pretty good deal for everything the Nook Color includes. I do hope you're planning to convert it to Cyanogenmod 7 in order to turn it into a full Android tablet with Bluetooth and everything. :)

Very exciting! (oh look, just saw the deal pop up on SD) I read they have usb-host working now -- which is important to me. In a few months, when I finally give up on nirvana and the nook color 2 is out and I've missed my shot at the next touchpad sale, maybe I'll start eyeing the original nc too.

Does this help? - CM7 (Cyanogen Gingerbread) Internally on NOOKcolor

Yup -- that's where I found the deal -- Front page, but before it was "cream of the crop." :D

The Nook Color, although it's mostly sold as an ebook reader, is Android based. You can enable more functions and turn it into a full fledged Android 7" tablet using some of the third-party ROM images.

Among the added features are Android Market access, and the fact that the Nook Color has Bluetooth hardware built in that's not used in the default configuration. The Cyanogenmod 7 ROM enables much of this stuff, as well as giving you a "stock" Android experience.
