3 month old boy diaper-changing target, about 16 years ago...oh, nevermind!
Isn't that what parenting is all about?
I will remind my kids of that when they complain about changing my Tena pants, hopefully not before 4 or 5 decades from now
Look! it's a geyser!!
I've been bombed with volcanic-like events: you know, with lots of explosions, rapidly expanding gas clouds, and unstoppable viscous flows
Always pleased to help, Rick
Sheesh. We Moms of adorable little fellas have long used a trick for avoiding that "geyser effect". Open the diaper for approx 3 seconds and allow the cold air inside, quickly close it back, wait for a count of 30 and when you uncover again, geyser has already happened and you are unscathed. Victory!
You're welcome for the parenting and grandparenting tip.
My trick was to always squeeze my kids from the top down just before changing (kind of like a tube of toothpaste).
We always tried to have a cloth diaper handy, to quench the eruption…
