I was using Veriozn's texting app on my Galaxy, tablet and laptop. A couple of weeks ago it stopped syncing.

Is there a different app that syncs across devices, just for texting? I won't want to use something like Viber where the other party needs to use it too.

I've used Mighty Text in the past. Been a while, but it worked really well a couple of years ago.

That is really cool, I just installed it. It's $7 a month. I will uninstall it now. :)

The free version won't work for you?

No, while I am not a big texter (I'm reallllly old), this is my work and personal phone. I will send more than 100 texts a month.

I might give it a try for a month or two and see what happens. It looks like the 100 a month limit is only if you send from the web app, maybe it will work.

The paid version looks pretty nice.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

I use MightyText free version all the time. I've never needed the Premium version.

The Google app Messages also apparently does this, but I haven't tried it yet. Since I don't message much never got motivated to try it even though that is the messaging app I use.

I use Google Messages on my Android phone, Chromebook, and Windows laptop and desktop. The only "drawback" per se is that each one of these devices has to be connected to the phone for it to work. It's via wifi or mobile data, so it's not really a problem unless you're, say, in a different country where you don't have access to wifi and your phone doesn't get mobile data. So it's not a good "wifi only" solution, at least not for me since Sprint doesn't allow my phone to use their wifi calling/texting feature for whatever reason known only to Sprint (because my phone is capable of doing this on all other carriers, including Google Fi, which...uh...uses Sprint...???)

Is there a way to make Google Voice (free texting) work for you?
