    I think it is interesting that MS does not get the Nokia branding out of the deal. That won't be a big deal in the US, but it may actually hurt them where they can least afford it, in the international market where Nokia branding loyalty goes way back. Nokia hardware actually made *me* think once or twice about trying Windows Phone. I'm not sure Microsoft branding would do so. Maybe they'll call them X-Boxes. ;)

    EDIT: Just to clarify, there is nothing surprising in this. They didn't buy all of Nokia. Nokia still exists as a much smaller company that is involved in other technologies. I'm just remarking that things could be tougher, for a while at least, without that branding.
