I've been experimenting with the my touch. It's experiencing a massive slowdown and the screen goes dark. I've only downloaded a few apps, so far. The power button just turns off the screen, it doesn't power down the phone.

Is there a way to see cpu usage? Would pulling the battery stop whatever's slwoing down the fone, like Ctrl alt del on a computer?

    TIA

Pulling and replacing the battery would let you reboot the phone. My Motorola Defy came with a Task Manager app that shows how much RAM and CPU % apps are using, and has a menu option to enable a notification when CPU and/or RAM usage is high. I don't know if the MyTouch 4G has that particular app, but it should have something similar.
