Too bad the Amazon Fire Phone doesn't work on Sprint.
Someone, probably my daughter, knocked my phone if the nightstand and maybe even stepped on it. There's a half circle crack in the screen. Fortunately, it seems fully functional. How far away is December 1 (my upgrade date)?
Sorry to hear that Jig. Maybe your carrier would let you get one a little sooner - especially with other carriers willing to take you & pay off your old carrier.

Some devil really has it in for that phone. Go to Sprint. Beg. You have been a long and faithful customer.
Sprint's response these days is, "yes, you can upgrade any time you want -- you just have to get onto our leasing program." No thanks.
Got a Treo Pro you could use while you wait for Dec 1st.

Maybe I should reactivate my TP2 - or Treo 755p! I still have the E4GT, but it's kind of POS, along with the rest. Seriously, I'm half considering an iPhone. They work and have good resale. Android devices seem to lose so much value after just a few short years.
that is the one thing that can't be argued about -- re-sale value of an iPhone. me, I just hang onto my old phones -- have recently needed to give primary phone a dry-out break, so the S3 stepped in and worked fine. The others still work, but haven't been on a carrier in several years....knock on wood
Even without resale value, I'd like to pass on my old phones to the kids once they get older. But I wouldn't wish my old smartphones on my enemies, at this point.
I think that's is the one of problems with CDMA technololgy, you can't easily switch to another phone. That's what I like the most of GSM phone based, you can easily get/upgrade the phone that you want without waiting.
