    I had read briefly about this update - thinking it would not happen to me - but on Tuesday I too had to powerwash my Toshiba Chromebook 2.

    It really wasn't too hard & since I don't keep anything on it that isn't backed up with Google, it really wasn't a big deal.

    Interesting note - the last update is the last update that my Toshiba Chromebook 2 will get & it caused a lock down.

    I used my Toshiba Chromebook 2 yesterday w/no issues. I'll check it again when I get back from our trip.

    I hadn't heard about this. I wasn't much of a Chromebook fan. Sorry to hear about it.

    Sorry to hear it. I'm not a huge chromebook fan. It's kinda strange to me that it's so widely adopted when it's basically half baked linux.
    But Google has the power :).
