Hi, I have some ebooks in PDF and TXT. I am currently using a TX, and like the Ereader than came with the device. Is there any application (for Windows) with which I can convert the books? It's better that they're free ...

    Thanks a lot.

For PDF, PalmPDF (freeware) can convert to eReader format on the TX.

.txt can be converted with DropBook. There is documentation at memoware.com which includes MS Word macro. Believe there is also an eReader app. As far as converting .pdf, why not use PalmPDF? You can find more discussion on this sort of topic at mobileread.com. Don't let the current enthusiasm for the new Sony Reader and iRex Iliad hardware daunt you.

Thanks a lot. I didn't know that PalmPDF can be use in this way until today ... But how should one fill in the 'start' and 'end'? I tried numbers, having the page numbers in mind ... it doesn't work though.

    Thanks in advance.

Just so you know, I believe the freeware Palm Fiction can read both DOC (e-Reader) and txt.
