I have suddenly gotten an unknown sync error 16385 that says files not backed up. I have not had a problem with doing a sync before. Using newest Palm Desktop on G5 Mac with OSX.

Hello dal818, welcome to BrightHand :D:D:D

I think you will have better chance of responses when this thread is in Mac forum, so I moved it ;)

Already had a look at this Palm Knowledgebase article 25536 ?

PS which device are we discussing here ?

And don't forget your OS X version as well.

I'm assuming that this happened suddenly? As in Tuesday it worked and Wednesday it didn't? What changed between Tuesday and Wednesday with your computer? Did you install any apps or do updates?

I would run a permissions repair and check to make sure your Backup file isn't locked. Then I'd look at the HotSync log to see if the backup conduit actually did anything. Sometimes the settings get goofed up and can be easily fixed.

    Welcome to BH!
