    Below are links to the threads where the Toshiba e800 hacks are posted and/or discussed. Read them carefully. Also: i've added the links to the websites (if they exist). In the latest edit of this post i've added prices and if the hack provides just Portrait or Portrait & Landscape, this feature is not applicable to WPDAPET's hack, because it is a diferent sort of hack.

    WPDAPET's hack website => over here

    ENVOKE's ResSwitch 1.x => here ==> free ==> Portrait
    ENVOKE's hack website => no known website

    DEEZ's ResFix 2.x => here ==> $10 (via paypal) ==> Portrait/Landscape

    Please do not post on this thread if you want to ask a question or comment something about the software that's listed here. Feel free to do so, but in the provided links. If something new comes up, something like the VGA keyboard, that would be a good reason to post. But just announce it, don't comment.

    Can we please make this post sticky ?

    [not closed just sticky. No need to selectively edit information. All the currently available "hacks" are here. Eventually someone may write a FAQ, but until then this is important info for all]

    If you have a USB host cable (or presentation pack, or newer USB cradle), the free drivers known to work are discussed here:

    RATOC's USB Storage Driver (beta) => here

    Hi Everybody,

    I am ready to try to make 640*640 themes which could fit the screen in portrait AND landscape mode, but I don't have ResFix 2 yet. I was secretely hoping M Deez send me exceptionnaly a free copy ;-), but I don't know if it is possible.

    I can buy it, but I saw the payment is through Paypal. Please Excuse my question but I am not accustomed with Paypal, Do I need to open a complicated Paypal account to buy ResFix 2 ?

    As soon I will have ResFix 2 I will begin to make beautiful 640*640 free themes for all of you !

    Best Regards

    Fred,

    You need Resfix 2 to create 640x640 themes ?

    Hoping they'll be as beautiful as your previous :)

    Yes I need ResFix2 to test the themes, every theme I made is tested, repositioned, for an optimal quality and lisibility of the screen.

    I think it will be a bit more complicated to do because the main object in the picture will need to be well placed for portrait and landscape modes.

    Probably easier with abstract themes...

    ;-)
