You probably saw the recent article on the huge pent-up demand for the iPhone 5. So I got curious: how many of you are going to get Apple's latest? Is your contract going to let you get it on launch day, or are you going to have to wait?

Please answer this poll question, then let us know your reasons in the comments section below.

    Thanks!

The poll needs an option for "I'm skipping this version" so I picked "when my contract runs out" but what I really mean is "when my contract runs out, I'll be picking up iPhone 6". Many of us with iPhone 4 will likely be sitting this one out thanks to contract length.

Same here! I am perfectly happy with my iP4. As long as the battery holds up...I'm good!

Now if the new iP5 will take out the Trash I may have to think about it. I wonder if there is an App for that?!:p

The hype surrounding all things fruit, has driven me up the wall. I'd roll over in my grave before I ever owned one.

So much hype, so cramped a lifestyle. Thanks, but I like freedom.

Like several others, it will probably be iPhone 6 before I upgrade, since my contract has about a year to run.

Added the additional option, as requested. I should have thought of that myself.

While I am not as adamant as Hc about the Apple thingies, I'm not even considering it. My interests totally walk elsewhere. If I were to consider it, AFAiG the single reason would be that I were totally switching to the Apple realms, like switching to a MacBook, and ditching any portable player for an iPod, and so on, and hence a mobile integration were due. So an iPhone would be considered just because it eases said integration. As of its inherent features, I either have them elsewhere, or I don't miss them at all. That said, I wish to point out that nothing in my post is derogatory towards the iPhone or its user base. I just don't feel like it.
