Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer calendar information from Franklin Covey to Outlook? Not Outlook for Franklin Covey, but regular Outlook.Thanks.

One inventive way of doing this is to use a Palm as the conduit - i.e. sync all the info from Franklin to the Palm, then sync from the Palm to Outlook ;)

    Let's see, Franklin themselves say:

How to Synchronize with Microsoft Outlook and Franklin Planner Software Using PocketMirror:
    1. Install Franklin Planner Software.
    2. Be sure to check "Palm Interface Files" during the install.
    3. Set the Date Range for Synchronization
    4. After the installation, click on the HotSync Manager (icon with red/blue arrows by the time) and choose Custom.
    5. Double-click on "Datebook and Franklin WMM".
    6. Set the preferred Date Range below. (Once PocketMirror is installed, this option will no longer be available.)
    7. Click on OK and Done.
    8. Install Chapura? PocketMirror?.
    9. Place the Franklin Planner Software Suite CD in the drive. (If you did not purchase your Palm handheld from FranklinCovey, you will need to purchase PocketMirror separately from Chapura at http://www.chapura.com/products.php.)
    10. Click on "Add-On Software for Palm Handhelds". (If the autorun doesn't appear, double-click on the CDROM drive inside My Computer.)
    11. Click on Install next to PocketMirror.
    12. During the installation choose the components you would like to use with Microsoft Outlook. Deselect any components that will sync to Franklin Planner Software. (Note: The Prioritized Daily Task List and other unique FranklinCovey applications should continue to sync regardless.)
    13. Perform a Custom Sync.
    14. Click on the HotSync Manager and Custom.
    15. Double-click on each conduit one at a time and select "Desktop Overwrites Handheld" or "Handheld Overwrites Desktop" (depending where the most current information is saved).
    16. Click on Done and sync.
    17. Now Synchronize like Normal.

Where they talk about getting pocketmirror from the Franklin CD, you can get it from the CD that came with the Palm.

Alternatively, not using the Palm, which is proabably what you are asking for, Outlook doesn't come with specific import filters for Franklin.

You can do some stuff using CSV or excel files - I expect you can export the contacts from Franklin to a CSV file and then import into Outlook. You need to be careful about getting the fields to line up though - which is why the Palm can be helpful as a conduit.
