I have just done a test on my T3, with brightness at lowest, no bluetooth, no card etc. Didn't get as good reults as you. 6 hours total, using FullPower 1.02 set on 3.60v, and with NoBattDialog enabled. (1.03 and 1.04 don't work on mine) Only went down to 3.65 before BatteryTime finished. I tried running BatteryTime a few more times to see if it had ended prematurely, but it just ran for a few seconds before stopping. Then tried to run a video on TCMP which lasted about 5 minutes before Palm switched off.

Wonder why I got 2 hours less than you. My T3 is only about 4 months old, so the battery is in good condition. I am very pleased though, as this is a massive 50% improvement. As I mentioned in a previous post, I only occasionally run out of battery, with a days above average useage, so this should make all the difference. I probably won't crack open my T3 till the warranty expires now :)

    Thanks again to JM

    ROM date: 10/31/03 12:25:44

    Steps per volt: 40
    Voltage Step Offset: -2

These are identical to the values with version 1.02.

Again, the issue with 1.03 is that tapping the arrows does not change the voltage displayed in the app. I think that it DOES actually change the shutdown voltage because once I installed 1.02 over 1.03, the voltage was something other than 3.75 as displayed in 1.03.

    Thanks.
Please try the version 1.05. It should fix the problems with some T|T3s.

Link is the same as before.

It's only JungleMike with his mega-huge batteries who never needs to recharge again. I heard a rumour that he was fitting nuclear power to his T3: apparently he picked up a secondhand missile on the Russian black-market.

My T3 and T2 also work with 1.05, but like you the 'Suppress all battery warnings' doesn't remain checked

    Guys,

This is the reason why the 1.03 version did not work..."[Installation]
Remove previous version (if any) of FullPower and perform a soft reset.
This is important step! Install the program in the internal RAM
via HotSync or by other means. Installation to card is not supported."

That is my 2 cents... I always delete the previous app before installing a newer version... it is a handy practice.

    Good Hunting!!

    :) :)

Hmmm, maybe I got a cached 1.03 downloaded, but I can't make it to get 1.05 (on the webside I see it says 1.05 too, but the file still is wrong. I try again from home, hopefully I get the newest version there!

Update: Yes, got 1.05 now, seems my proxy server at work did just gave me a cached version (1.03)

I have installed version 1.05 and it works just fine while versions 1.03 and 1.04 did not.

By the way 'suppress all battery warnings' DOES remain checked on my Tungsten T3. I do have to tap the box twice though.

    Trojan13 :D :D

Except the one instance I mentioned in my post, I ALWAYS delete and soft reset. Even doing this, 1.03 and 1.04 would NOT work on my T3. I'll try 1.05 later when I get home from work.

I stand corrected, snickersmd! But yours and klw's were the first names off the top of my head... LOL!

In any case, your research on batteries and now FullPower is VERY appreciated by all T3 users!!

I installed 1.03 yesterday, and, while not conducting a *serious and scientific* research, it seems like my battery lasts more. While using another app I had to soft reset, which in turn made me reset FullPower's settings.

I am using at 3.6v. Still hesitant to upgrade to 1.05 before I can gauge results.
