Interesting that they're marketing this under their Genio e name (note the logo)... Not sure if I like the blue color-- kind of Zire 71-like. Not as professional-looking as the e700 series IMHO. If they kept the left side jog-dial then this may be the successor to my e740 (just have to keep it in a more professional looking case!) :D

This looks very, very interesting. It's got everything I'd want in a PPC, plus 4" VGA screen and slimmer form factor than e750... make it deep green in color, and it's perfect! :D

But Trashiba has SCREWED me (and many of use early e740 people) a little to much.

As for me....I ordered my TAPWAVE..........

Sorry Trashiba..nice PPC specs...crappy human interaction and TS.

PS, be careful, Trashiba DOES sell you warranty information to third party companies...had that out with them once too.

    IDIOTS...

    Anyone heard any release dates?

I wonder how many names that are on the petition will be owners of this?

    Cheers

Rather than look at eh negative (ie Toshiba is making it) remember after the first wifi pocket pc , 740, came out it wasn't too long before the iPaq caught up, and passed it. So other vga PPCs will come out once someone has started it.

Still I'm not buying cutting edge (or likely Toshiba) again.

I still don't get why toshiba hasn't realised somepeople want both bluetooth and wifi.

Can I add to this too?

Why can't PPC makers (all inclusive) realize the some people want bluetooth and wifi and GSM/GPRS (tri-band) ???

BTW - Toshiba will not be my next PPC - fantastic specs or not - I've seen how Toshiba supports its cutting edge products - ie. the Genio e550, e550g, and e550gx - note all of these great devices didn't get the WM2k3 update either....
