Hulu will charge for old shows but the 9.99 is for a monthly subscription. By old it means you can watch the five most recent episodes of that series for free, but anything older than that, you need the subscription.

4.1" is around the sweet spot for a widescreen aspect ratio pocket computer. (4.3" would be most ideal, if the HTC HD2 is anything to go by.)

No slide-out thumbboard like on the Lightning, though?

I basically only use Hulu for recent stuff I miss, or my DVR screws up, etc. I have browsed and they have some interesting stuff; but with my state-wide library system, it's amazing what DVD's I have access to for 'free' (my taxes do support the library system, and I gladly pay them). I DEFINITELY wouldnn't pay a subscription. I might pay per item if the fee weren't too high. Personally, I balk even at the price iTunes charges, given that it's not 'TV quality' and made for a small screen. Charging $1.99/ep. actually works out to more than what buying a typical TV season on DVD. I don't know why people do that.
